FASTBREAK™, is a one-hour sports program that currently airs every Friday, from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM (EST) on WNCU 90.7 FM from the campus of North Carolina Central University, located in Durham. The show is the only sports radio program on the FM dial in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle market. The aforementioned exclusivity, along with call-ins from enthusiastic fans and an exciting format that blends intelligent conversation with hip-hop and jazz soundtracks are the ways FASTBREAK™ differentiates itself from would-be competitors. A typical show offers in-depth interviews, weekly sports headlines, intriguing cutting edge topics, the "Word From the Street" segment, and calls from the listening audience.

Currently, FASTBREAK™ broadcasts every week to over 800,000 residents in a thirteen county area, extending north to Danville, Virginia, west to Greensboro, south to Sanford and east to Franklin County. Along with the 50,000 watt radio signal, WNCU is available to over 100,000 households via Durham Cablevision (Channel 8) and to listeners worldwide through a live audio feed from the radio stations website at www.wncu.org.
